Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually that are in the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from these films. She began reviewing in late 2009, and when she gained some status through their forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel. Both are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She started reviewing movies late in 2009. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was invited into the Reviewer community. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many seasons from Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
